Is Your Space EV Ready? We Are Certified

We saw it coming, got trained, and are now certified installers of electric vehicle charging stations (EVCS). We also sell SWTCH Charging Systems directly and boasts no vendor lock in for the charger modules and uses Open Charge Point Protocol (OCPP) based interfaces. Check ‘em out and contact us if you’re interested.

Before purchasing and installing an EVCS, it is imperative to understand the power requirements and the available capacity of the electrical service supplying it. This directly affects the type and quantity of EVCS an electrical service can support.

We have performed dozens of site assessments for EVCS’ and found one common theme; majority of existing commercial buildings were not designed in anticipation of electric vehicles and their power requirements.

If you plan to install an EVCS, give us a shout before you dig up your parking lot.

Services Provided

  • This initial step will determine the capacity of your existing electrical system, and if it has the required availability to accept EV charging stations. When EV charging stations are actively charging a vehicle, the circuit is at full load (i.e. – a 50A circuit is drawing 50A).

We’ve been surveying car dealerships to determine availability across the region since 2017 and the typical existing system is not adequate or safely able to add these charging stations without compromising their electrical service.

There are still ways to get EV stations installed, and it may involve a new electrical service from your utility company depending on the equipment chosen. Most scenarios (including residences), require an upgrade to your electrical service.

  • Product selection largely depends on the findings of a site assessment. EV station products are designated by different “Tier” levels, currently Tier 1-Tier 4. Tier 1 charges your vehicle the slowest and requires the least amount of electricity, Tier 4 charges your vehicle the fastest and requires the largest amount of electricity.

Following product selection, we install and commission these stations to be ready for use and turned over to the customer.

Go Green and Gain Revenue

As the Upper Valley begins to build a network of publicly accessible EV chargers local businesses are setting themselves apart by offering their customers a place to power up. But most EV owners do not charge at a store front or parking lot but at their primary place of residence. Apartment buildings and condominium complexes are the best place to offer tenants a place to charge their vehicles while they relax at home or sleep. Don’t get left behind as our local communities attract more and more customers and tenants who are looking for a place to charge their vehicles.
